These Terms & Conditions are designed to ensure that every booking is managed
professionally and that expectations are clear from the outset.
By confirming a booking and making the required payment, you agree to the following Terms
& Conditions

1. BOOKINGS & CONFIRMATION
All bookings are subject to availability.
An enquiry, quotation or provisional discussion does not reserve your date.
Your appointment or wedding date is only secured once the required booking fee/deposit
has been received and your booking has been confirmed by us.
Until confirmation is received, the date may remain available to other clients.
2. BOOKING FEE / DEPOSIT
A booking fee/deposit is required to secure your appointment or wedding date.
The amount required will be confirmed within your quotation.
Subject to your statutory consumer rights, booking fees/deposits are normally
non-refundable, as the agreed date and time are reserved specifically for you.
3. FINAL PAYMENT
The outstanding balance must be paid by the date stated on your invoice or booking
confirmation.
For bridal bookings, the final balance will normally be payable before the wedding date.
Failure to make payment by the agreed deadline may result in the booking being released.
4. QUOTATIONS & PRICING
All quotations are based on the information supplied at the time of enquiry.
Your quotation may change if you subsequently amend:
• Number of people receiving services
• Hair or makeup requirements
• Appointment or ready-by time
• Venue or location
• Travel requirements
• Bridal party size
• Additional artist requirements
Any additional services are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
5. MOBILE SERVICES & TRAVEL
Saira Hussain Hair & Makeup provides a professional mobile service to homes, hotels,
wedding venues and event locations.
Travel charges are calculated according to the location and requirements of your booking.
Where applicable, additional travel expenses may include:
• Mileage or public transport
• Parking
• London Congestion Charge
• ULEZ or applicable road charges
• Tolls
• Taxis or other necessary transportation
These costs are payable by the client unless specifically included within the quotation.
6. PARKING
Suitable parking should be available as close as reasonably possible to the appointment
location, as our artists travel with professional hair and makeup equipment.
Any parking fees required to fulfil the booking are payable by the client unless otherwise
agreed.
7. EARLY-MORNING APPOINTMENTS
An additional early-morning call-out fee applies to appointments starting before
8:00am.
For weddings, your start time will be calculated according to the size of your bridal party and
your required ready-by time.
Exceptionally early starts requiring overnight accommodation or additional travel
arrangements may incur additional charges.
8. BRIDAL TRIALS
Bridal trials are available for hair and makeup together or as individual services.
Your trial is an opportunity to discuss your wedding style, dress, accessories, hair, skin,
makeup preferences and overall bridal vision. If you are working within a limited budget, hair
and makeup can also be provided without a trial.
Trials are charged separately unless specifically included in your bridal package.
9. BRIDAL PARTY BOOKINGS
Your quotation is based on the number of services agreed at the time of booking.
Additional bridesmaids, mothers or guests may be added subject to availability and sufficient
preparation time.
Larger bridal parties may require an additional artist. Any additional artist fees and
associated travel costs will be confirmed in advance.
If the number of services is reduced after booking, this does not necessarily reduce the
agreed booking price where time and/or artists have already been reserved specifically for
your wedding.
10. WEDDING DAY TIMINGS
Your wedding schedule will be planned around your agreed ready-by time.
All members of the bridal party should be present and ready for their allocated appointment.
Delays caused by members of the bridal party may affect the services we are able to provide
within the remaining time.
We cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by clients, members of the bridal party or
circumstances at the venue outside our reasonable control.
11. DESTINATION BOOKINGS
Saira Hussain Hair & Makeup is available for selected UK and international destination
weddings, subject to availability.
Destination bridal services are quoted individually.
In addition to the professional service fee, the client will be responsible for reasonable travel
and accommodation expenses required to fulfil the booking.
These may include:
• Return flights or rail travel
• Professional kit baggage
• Airport transfers
• Local transportation
• Taxis or car hire where required
• Hotel accommodation
• Other agreed necessary travel expenses
12. ACCOMMODATION
For destination weddings requiring an overnight stay, suitable hotel accommodation will
normally be required from the day before the event until the day after the event.
This allows sufficient time for arrival before the wedding and helps minimise the risk of
same-day travel disruption affecting your booking.
Accommodation should be safe, comfortable and reasonably located in relation to the
wedding venue.
13. TRAVEL CHANGES
Flights, accommodation and other travel arrangements will be agreed before non-refundable
reservations are made.
Where the client changes the wedding date, destination, venue or agreed schedule after
travel arrangements have been booked, any reasonable additional costs resulting from those
changes will be payable by the client.
14. CLIENT CANCELLATIONS
Should you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible.
Any refund or cancellation charge will depend upon the notice provided, services reserved,
expenses already incurred and the circumstances of the cancellation.
Non-refundable expenses already incurred specifically for your booking, including certain
travel and accommodation costs, may not be recoverable.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
15. DATE CHANGES
Requests to transfer a booking to another date are subject to availability and cannot be
guaranteed.
Where we are available, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date.
Additional charges may apply where changing the date results in increased travel,
accommodation, artist or other costs.
16. IF WE CANCEL
In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your booking due to illness, emergency or
circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will make reasonable efforts, where
appropriate, to assist in sourcing a suitable replacement artist.
Where we cancel and cannot provide the contracted service or an alternative agreed with
you, payments relating to services we cannot provide will be refunded as appropriate.
17. PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
Unless otherwise advised, clients should arrive with a clean face and clean, dry hair.
Please avoid applying heavy oils or styling products before your appointment.
Specific preparation instructions may be provided depending on your chosen hairstyle or
makeup service.
18. ALLERGIES & SENSITIVITIES
Please inform us before your appointment of any known allergies, sensitivities, skin
conditions or previous reactions to cosmetic or hair products that may be relevant to your
service.
Where appropriate, we may recommend a patch test or decline to use a particular product.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a service where we reasonably believe
proceeding could present a health or safety concern.
19. LATENESS
Please notify us as soon as possible if you are running late.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate delays. However, where another
appointment follows or a bridal schedule must be maintained, your service may need to be
shortened or adjusted.
20. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT & SAFETY
We are committed to providing a professional and respectful service.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a booking in circumstances involving
threatening, abusive, discriminatory, inappropriate or unsafe behaviour towards an artist.
21. PHOTOGRAPHY & SOCIAL MEDIA
We may photograph or film completed hair and makeup for our professional portfolio,
website or social media.
You are welcome to decline photography or promotional use of your images.
Where consent is legally required, images will not be used without the appropriate consent.
22. PRIVACY
Personal information provided during your enquiry and booking will be handled in
accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.
Your information will only be used where reasonably necessary to manage your booking,
communicate with you, provide your services and meet our legal obligations.
23. CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
We will not be responsible for a failure or delay caused by circumstances genuinely outside
our reasonable control.
Examples may include severe weather, major transport disruption, accidents, emergencies,
government restrictions or other exceptional circumstances.
Should such circumstances arise, we will communicate with you as soon as reasonably
possible and make reasonable efforts to find a practical solution.
24. COMPLAINTS
Your experience is important to us.
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your service, please raise your concern as soon as
reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to address it.
Formal complaints should be submitted in writing with your booking details and an
explanation of your concern and photographs to back any evidence.
25. CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or override any
statutory rights you have under applicable UK consumer law.
Where any provision conflicts with a legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded, the
applicable statutory right will take precedence.
26. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction determined by applicable law.
27. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By confirming your booking and making the required payment, you acknowledge that you
have had the opportunity to read and understand these Terms & Conditions and agree to be
bound by them.
We recommend retaining a copy alongside your booking confirmation.
